CHILDREN’S CAROLS AND VISIT TO THE STABLE

ST ANNE’S CHURCH CHRISTMAS EVE AT 6:15

All are welcome to this short magical service. There is a story about Christmas after which the children dress up as shepherds or angels and go on their journey with candles. They process out of the rear door of the church, along the street and enter the main door into the now darkened church. They then sit on the floor in front of the stable which is slowly opened to display Mary, Joseph and the little baby Jesus. The children sing away in the manager to the baby (who hopefully will enjoy it and not cry).

This serves to remind the children (and adults) that Christmas is about a real family and the affect they have had and continue to have on our lives.
